The APP R&R: Read and Relax series was developed by the SGO APP Committee and is meant to be an informal opportunity for APPs and other allied health professionals working directly in gyn onc patient care to get together virtually to connect, discuss a piece of literature (journal article, book, etc.) each quarter, and learn from one another in a casual, relaxed environment. 

Please join us for the next APP R&R: Read and Relax session, when we will be discussing the book, Being Mortal, by Atul Gawande.  Please pick up a copy and read it in your free time prior to the session- or join us even if you don't finish the book!  The topic of conversation will focus on modern medicine and quality of life specifically in the end of life setting.  We will discuss where we as healthcare providers may be missing the mark and ways to improve our practice.
