This workshop provides nuts and bolts strategies to help you optimize your practice as a gynecologic oncologist. It will address how to 1) negotiate and set up your practice in an efficient and effective manner, 2) work to win on multiple different competing priorities including clinical, educational, research, and administrative duties, and 3) rebound from practice-threats such as patient satisfaction scores and litigation. Specifically, speaker discuss selection of your practice environment and work-duties distribution, creating, leveraging, and elevating your work team, negotiating your salary, incentives and compensation, understanding reimbursement, and finding joy in a physically and emotionally demanding field, in both traditional and non-traditional settings.
