Gender Equity Webinar - Supporting Parents: Becoming a Parent
Being a gynecologist oncologist is a demanding and rewarding endeavor, involving a great deal of personal sacrifice that often affects our partners and children. The hours/years involved with training and the unpredictable lifestyle oftentimes make it difficult to maintain a “work-life balance.” It has been well documented that work/home conflicts are a strong contributor to physician burnout. Consequently, addressing systemic barriers and institutional culture that contribute to work/home conflicts is paramount.
Please join us and share your insight to help identify these systemic and cultural barriers and give us suggestions on how to better support working Gyn Onc parents! This webinar will feature a panel of Gynecologic Oncologists with multiple perspectives regarding pregnancy and parenting, as well as an anonymous interactive opportunity for attendees to ask questions.
