Are you using HIPEC? If so, how are you implementing in your practice?

Given the available data, I discuss HIPEC with patients who meet criteria based on the Van Driel study. I agree that it can be institution dependent with regard to the associated challenges of doing HIPEC intraoperatively. The SGO Journal Club on HIPEC gave a fantastic review. I recommend people register for it on ConnectED and view it, it is free.

van Driel
Agree w above- my institution has streamlined HIPEC care so it is easy to implement for the right patient. I discuss with patients who meet van Driel inclusion. Discuss somewhat limited data esp in setting of newer BRCA/parpi options.
