This surgical education course, presented by the SGO Surgical Education Subcommittee in conjunction with the SGO 2023 Annual Meeting is designed for gynecologic oncology surgeons who desire to improve their surgical skillsets and knowledge base, apply these skills to perform more advanced cytoreductive procedures, and optimize surgical patient outcomes in their practices.

This virtual, lecture-based course, originally live streamed on March 4, 2022, features recognized experts in cytoreductive surgery in gynecologic oncology from around the world. Content is high-level and tailored to the gynecologic oncology surgeon in practice who desires to enhance their skills and achieve optimal cytoreduction more efficiently and effectively. Presentations include surgical videos and pearls of wisdom from years of global experience in radical cytoreductive surgery for advanced gynecologic cancer.  Topics include: Laparoscopic Scoring with Dr. Anna Fagotti, Radical Oophorectomy with Dr. Robert Bristow, Liver Procedures with Dr. Dennis Chi, Splenectomy with Dr. Billy Cliby and more!
