At the end of this session, viewers will be able to:

• Summarize and clarify the guidelines for code selection for office/outpatient E/M services that went into effect in 2021.
• Articulate the guidelines for code selection for facility based E/M services (inpatient, observation, emergency department, and consultations) that went into effect in 2023.
• Describe the considerations involved in selecting E/M codes based on time.
• Evaluate case studies unique to GYN Oncology that apply the revised principles of E/M code selection.
