Learning Objectives
Ongoing advancements in gynecologic oncology therapies have outpaced clinician familiarity and application, resulting in gaps in interpreting current evidence, integrating diagnostic data into care planning, and managing treatment-related toxicities according to best practices. At the conclusion of this educational activity, participants will be able to:
- Apply advanced gynecologic oncology medical knowledge to interpret evolving treatment, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and antibody-drug conjugates (ADC), and procedural interventions, to support evidence-based patient management. (AAPA Competency: Medical Knowledge, Patient Care)
- Interpret diagnostic tools and clinical data—including diagnostic imaging and cytopathology, to inform treatment planning and patient monitoring. (AAPA Competency: Medical Knowledge)
- Demonstrate clinical reasoning and practice-based strategies in the prevention, recognition, and management of treatment‑related toxicities and symptoms, including dermatologic, pulmonary, gastrointestinal, neurologic, and menopausal complications, using diagnostic grading criteria and evidence‑based interventions.(AAPA Competencies: Patient Care, Practice-Based Learning and Improvement)
