Eradicating Racism and Discrimination in Medicine (Session from SGO 2021 Annual Meeting)

During this 45-minute session, listeners will hear three dynamic presentations by expert panelists on the historical impacts of racism on current practice and cancer-specific disparity statistics; sources of unconscious bias and how it impacts patient care, and tools that providers can use to combat their own biases; and racism in academia and diversifying workforces.
