With the use of robot-assisted gynecologic surgery there are significant benefits to the patient, but there are also several unique challenges. This webinar presentation describes these challenges from the perspective of the anesthesia team to an audience of non-anesthesiologists. 

In addition, this material serves to help identify which patients are at higher risk and outline the necessary pre-operative workup for patients with suspected gynecologic malignancy. Special focus and discussion takes place regarding intra-operative challenges including safe positioning and  optimizing ventilation before concluding with discussion about patient post-operative concerns and management options.
