SGO Journal Club: Vulvar Cancer Debates and Wrangling Recurrent Disease
August 14, 2023
Over the past 10 years, significant focus has been placed on decreasing the high morbidity rates associated with surgical treatment of early-stage vulvar cancer. With the implementation of inguinal sentinel lymph node dissection, questions have been asked regarding surgery vs radiation for treatment of inguinal metastatic disease. In the case of recurrent disease of the vulva, the data regarding management is scarce and there is no clear standard of care. Tune into this installment of SGO Journal Club where our panelists debate the data regarding radiation vs inguinofemoral lymphadenectomy for vulvar cancer as well as management of recurrent disease.
