Session 5: Overcoming Barriers and Data Collection

Implementing meaningful changes to become more LGBTQ+ welcoming won’t be without its obstacles. In this interactive webinar, a group of experts demonstrate the different ways anyone working within the healthcare system can become a champion of LGBTQ+ welcoming practices. 

Through a series of scenarios, experts review common barriers that healthcare professionals face in implementing change and give you the tools to overcome those barriers to adopting welcoming practices. You will also learn about the challenges and benefits of adopting SOGI data collection in EHR and formulate a plan for moving to this data collection in your own institutions.
